Industry: Gwarant Group
Company profile: One of leaders in steel castings, iron castings and forgings sectors in Poland. Reported tremendous losses on currency options in 2008, which coincided with the global economic crisis
Challenges:
- 50% drop in revenue and a net loss of PLN 133 million (caused by, among other things, currency options in 2008).
- More than PLN 150 million in overdue debt.
- Need for effective deep restructuring of individual Group companies.
