From the very beginning, our overriding idea has been to support companies working for the development of industries that contribute to the improvement of society’s quality of life, as well as to support the growth of companies that serve to improve the world around us. Well-being was treated here as a response to a fundamental need, but also as a trend that we currently observe in the consumer, economic, and labor markets. By engaging in companies that aim for the common good, Mercaton ASI not only earns for its owners but also contributes to directly and indirectly improving the quality of people’s lives associated with a given company, which is a very important element for us that we have sought to support – thus, Impact Investment has been our motto.
We compared business opportunities and the willingness of investors to identify with the presented idea of Impact Investing with real investment situations. We came to the conclusion that our strategy requires adjustment. The COVID-19 pandemic and the needs for restructuring many businesses it caused played a significant role, as well as our extensive experience in supporting and developing companies that needed a change in business direction or overcoming challenging situations. In this way, we combined the ideas without giving up on impactful initiatives and decided that the main criteria for selection would be the potential for fast and high returns on investment, as well as our ability to effectively implement dynamic changes in the invested companies. Today, we make investment decisions with this approach, assuming not only the role of an investor but also that of a Venture Builder (an investor who acts as an integrator, primary driver, restructurer, and contributor to the successful completion of the Project).

TOMASZ NIETUBYĆ
President of the Board
An experienced entrepreneur, investor, and manager. After 8 years spent in corporations, since 2010, he has successfully developed projects in various sectors of the economy. He is the founder and investor in companies operating in industries such as FMCG, technology, gastronomy, and recycling, among others. He has successfully carried out the restructuring of over 10 entities and raised over half a billion Polish złoty on the capital market in more than 50 issuances of debt and equity instruments..
Paweł Obara
Board Member
A capital market expert with extensive experience gained in global financial institutions. Throughout his professional career, he has worked in departments such as Risk Management, Asset Management, and Investment Banking. He has successfully prepared and executed over 20 restructuring, merger, and acquisition processes of portfolio companies in private equity and private debt funds. He is the founder of three start-ups in Poland. He holds PRM (Professional Risk Manager) and CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) certifications.

WOJTCZYK
Investment Manager
Since 2016, she has been involved in the capital market. She has conducted business lines in the gaming industry based on the intellectual property of external entities. She has actively participated in numerous capital transactions. She has extensive experience in managing and maintaining investor relations in private companies. Since 2017, she has been supporting companies in various tasks, including creating company and board documentation, investment documents, and debt securities. She possesses high managerial and organizational skills. In recent years, she has coordinated the implementation of multiple financial instrument issuances within the portfolio companies, attracting over 1,000 investors to the companies by conducting full issuances and preparing comprehensive documentation.
JOLANTADUSZYNSKA
Investor Relations Specialist
At Mercaton ASI, she is responsible for investor relations and handles both investment and corporate documentation while supporting the team in daily activities. She is a graduate of the University of Wrocław with a degree in Administration. Previously, she gained experience in corporations and law firms specializing in debt collection processes, working in both administrative and financial departments. In ASI-related companies, she coordinated several financial instrument issuances and participated in numerous capital acquisition processes, maintaining constant contact with hundreds of investors and several brokerage houses. Additionally, she supports investment processes in other projects in which the company is involved.
MAKSYMILIAN
GUDYMA
Financial Analyst
A financial analyst specializing in analyzing investment projects and managerial controlling of companies. He has co-created finance departments in companies from various industries, implementing dozens of financial models and budgets, and subsequently monitoring their execution. He is a laureate of the prestigious CFA Research Challenge. He has analyzed over 70 investment projects at various stages of development and has been involved in numerous investment entry and exit transactions. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Economics in Wrocław. At Mercaton ASI, he is responsible for both the financial part of investment project evaluation and the ongoing financial monitoring of portfolio companies’ health.
